Our Team
Clarisa Maria Mitria, UKBA (cert), BCBA
I’m a London-based Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with a deep commitment to using behavioural science to support meaningful change. My practice is rooted in the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and I’m passionate about helping people apply these tools to enhance learning, wellbeing, and everyday functioning across a variety of settings.
I hold a BSc in Psychology from Brunel University London and an MSc in ABA from the University of Kent, and I’ve completed over 2000 hours of supervised fieldwork to earn my BCBA accreditation. Over the past six years, I’ve worked with individuals aged 2 to 18 across home, school, and clinical environments, supporting a wide range of developmental needs. My focus is always on improving quality of life through ethical, evidence-based strategies that are tailored to each person’s goals and context.
Through The Behaviour Effect, I’m excited to offer courses that make ABA practical and accessible, whether you're a parent, educator, clinician, or someone looking to apply behavioural principles in your own life or work.
Laura Duque Martinez, UKBA (cert), BCBA
I’m a passionate and experienced Behaviour Consultant with a strong foundation in ethical, evidence-based practice. My work is grounded in the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and I’m committed to helping individuals, families, and professionals apply behavioural principles to create meaningful change in everyday life.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Southampton and a Master’s degree in ABA from the University of Kent, along with BCBA accreditation. Since 2015, I’ve worked across clinical, educational, and social care settings — supporting children, teens, and adults in building functional skills, improving wellbeing, and achieving personal goals. My approach is person-centred, practical, and adaptable, whether I’m teaching communication strategies, designing behaviour plans, or mentoring professionals in the field.
Through The Behaviour Effect, I aim to make ABA accessible and actionable, offering courses that empower parents, educators, professionals, and individuals alike to apply behavioural science in ways that support growth, wellbeing, and meaningful outcomes across all areas of life.
